The department of Food Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2006 with the aim of creating skilled human resources in the engineering aspect of food processing to cater the needs of the rapidly growing food processing sector. Since its inception the department has been imparting Post Graduate education in food processing and technology. The department is currently offering B. Tech., M. Tech. and Ph. D. programmes.
