The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is highest ranked university in Mumbai, India particularly for Chemical engineering. The university additionally owns campuses in Jalna, Marathwada, and Bhubaneswar, Odisha where they conduct integrated Masters courses for chemical engineering with 6 specializations energy, materials, petrochemicals, food, pharmaceuticals and lipids. Its main objectives are research and training in the areas of pharmacy, chemical engineering, and chemical technology. The only state-funded deemed university in India, it was founded in 1933 and given deemed university status in 2008.
